Naresh Soni, InterDigital's Chief Technology Officer, Appointed as Council Chair

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC) today announced the formation of a Technical Advisory Council to provide guidance on technology and telecommunication industry trends and investment opportunities to InterDigital's executive management team. Overseen by InterDigital's Chief Technology Officer, Naresh Soni, the Council assembles leading communications industry and technology experts from around the world.

The Council will help evaluate and provide guidance on overall industry trends, make recommendations to InterDigital's strategic technical priorities, and provide insights on new service and technology program initiatives.

        Officer of Apple and National Semiconductor; IEEE Fellow; former
        Chairman and Director, Semiconductor Industry Association; former member
        of the Board of Governors of the Electronic Industries Association.
    --  Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, 2020
        Venture Partners; former President and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T
        Labs and AT&T Global Network Services.
    --  Thomas Gilley, Chief Technology Officer, Critical Media; former founder
        of web media company Vidavee, which was acquired by Vignette, which was
        in turn recently acquired by IBM.
    --  David Hytha, General Partner at New Wave and Executive-in-Residence,
        Sofinnova Ventures; former Executive Vice President of Terminals for
        T-Mobile.
    --  Dr. Luigi Licciardi, Head of Technology Plan and Standard Coordination,
        Technology and Operations, Telecom Italia.
    --  Naresh Soni, Chief Technology Officer, InterDigital.
