InterDigital Hosts 2012 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC) held its annual meeting of shareholders in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania today.

At the meeting, InterDigital shareholders approved the reelection of Gilbert F. Amelio, Steven T. (Terry) Clontz, Edward B. Kamins, John A. Kritzmacher, William J. Merritt and Jean F. Rankin as members of the Board of Directors for a one-year term expiring at the 2013 annual meeting of shareholders. Mr. Clontz, InterDigital's Chairman of the Board, has served on the board since April 1998. Mr. Kamins has been a director since December 2003, and Mr. Merritt became a director in May 2005. Mr. Kritzmacher, Ms. Rankin and Dr. Amelio joined InterDigital's Board of Directors in June 2009, June 2010 and March 2011, respectively.

Shareholders also passed an advisory resolution to approve the company's executive compensation as reported in the company's 2012 proxy statement, and ratified the selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for the year ending December 31, 2012.
